Millbertson performance review

Your trading on Cashramp and Bybit in October and the first days of November, how you rank against every other agent and merchant, and what would win you more orders.

Summary

You are not trading less. Across both platforms you did more orders in the first three days of November than in the first three days of October, and four times the dollars. What changed is where: Cashramp orders are down, and Bybit has grown from a handful of orders to as many as Cashramp.

Your two platforms work as one trade. In October you bought dollars on Bybit and sold them to Cashramp depositors: $92.5k bought against $92.8k sold over the month. Since 1 November it runs the other way. You buy more than you sell on Cashramp, and you sell more than you buy on Bybit.

So the drop in Cashramp deposits is partly your own choice of where to sell. If Bybit pays you better for your dollars, a smaller Cashramp deposit business costs you little. If you want those deposits back, the Cashramp section shows what wins them.

Cashramp

Your Cashramp trades are down 21% on the same point in October. About two thirds of that is Cashramp getting quieter for every agent. The rest is your deposit price slipping down the board.

The row under the chart is the share of each hour you were on the board.

From midnight to 04:00 GMT you take 16 to 24% of all trades, because few agents stay online. Between 05:00 and 08:00 you are off the board about a quarter of the time, just as trades climb from about 9 an hour to 45.

What would win you more Cashramp orders

  1. Lead the deposit price when you want deposits.Deposits are most of your Cashramp business. On 29 and 30 October your deposit price stayed in the top 3 almost all day, and you were the busiest agent on Cashramp. In the first days of November it was in the top 3 only a quarter of the time.
  2. Bring your withdrawal price closer to the leaders. In October your withdrawal price sat around 10th and was in the top 3 only 18% of the time. Two of the four agents above you rarely lead on deposits and win on their withdrawal price instead. Your spread was 7 pesewas per dollar while four of the top eight ran 4 to 5. You have narrowed it to about 4.5 this month.
  3. Stay on the board through the morning. On Cashramp, time on the board tracks your daily share more closely than anything else. You are off it most between 05:00 and 08:00 GMT. On 1 and 20 October you were on it only about 60% of the day, and both were weak days for you.
  4. Keep your nights.Overnight you take up to a quarter of all Cashramp trades. Few agents stay on, so it is cheap volume to keep.
  5. Watch withdrawal times.Three of your four thumbs-down reviews since October say the order took too long, and two came on 3 November. Most orders finish in 2 to 3 minutes, but one withdrawal in ten took longer than 51 minutes this month. Bank payouts have also been paused in Zeus since 3 October. Check that is still what you want.

Bybit

Bybit's cedi market is about three times the size of Cashramp's, spread across far more merchants: no merchant took more than 6% of it in October. You were 21st of merchants then, and the room to grow here is larger than on Cashramp.

How much business is on the table

Your buy price is already among the best on Bybit: it was in the top 5 for 30% of October, about as often as the 5th-largest merchant's and more often than five of the top eight. They still did about two to three times your trades. The clearest difference is how many ads they run.

13 to 31 October. Ads on the board is the median number of your ads seen in a day. Other merchants are not named.

The 10th-largest merchant took 3.2% of Bybit's cedi trades in October. At that share you would do nearly 80 Bybit orders a day instead of about 45. Your Bybit orders averaged GH₵1,400 to buy and GH₵2,800 to sell in October, so those extra orders are worth more than the same number on Cashramp.

When you trade

Bybit cedi trades per hour, 13 October to 3 November averageYouEvery other merchant

The row under the chart is the share of each hour you had an ad on the board.

Your best hours are the evening: from 18:00 to midnight GMT you take 2.5 to 5% of trades. Between 09:00 and 16:00, the busiest hours with 130 to 150 trades an hour, you have an ad up most of the time but take only about 1%.

What would win you more Bybit orders

  1. Run more ads.The top eight merchants each run 4 to 8 ads a day. You run 2. More ads with different limits and payment methods put you in front of more buyers and sellers at the same price.
  2. Compete in the daytime. Most of Bybit's cedi trading happens between 09:00 and 17:00 GMT, and that is where your share is lowest. Your share follows your buy price more than anything else, so a sharper buy price in those hours is where the volume is.
  3. Price your sell ads if you mean to sell here.Since 1 November you sell more dollars on Bybit than you buy, but your sell price was in the top 5 only 9% of the time. Your sell orders are large, about GH₵5,000 each this month, so a few more of them add up quickly.
  4. Cover the morning.Between 01:00 and 07:00 GMT you have an ad up only a third to half of the time. The market climbs from about 30 trades an hour at 05:00 to over 100 by 08:00.
